Bulgaria – asked if they would be continuing on the respect of tolerance? The theme of celebrations?
Romania – thinks for the final product we could make a magazine
Spain – to continue with tolerance and respect theme and now would like to focus on other cultures.

Theme of next meeting
The theme decided for the next meeting is FRIENDSHIP.
Through the topic of friendship we can present our partner’s country and other cultures.
Each country will still focus on a partner country as arranged in previous meeting ( See Turkey minutes for reference .)
It was decided that Italy would study Wales.
Host country for the next meeting will be Wales on 21st March 2011.
(It was changed from Romania because of concerns about poor weather.)

Presentations
Bulgaria – Hitar Peter and the Rich Man.
Italy – The Bridge
England – Culture and Respect, texts used; Karlinchen (Little Carly) and ‘Something Else’.

All countries must ensure their presentations are uploaded to the blog and on to Angela’s hard-drive.
England and Scotland are using the Key Competencies template that was taken from the Comenius website that was agreed upon at the London meeting. The template is on the blog and has been since Spring 2009 as agreed.

Discussion
We must make sure that we are clear of the theme of the next meeting. If we are unsure we must ask Angela and read the minutes which are on the ‘blog’.
So far we have received 60% of the budget. We must complete the project and produce a good quality end product so that all the countries receive 40%. Concerns were discussed at this point about partners who are not attending the whole meeting and therefore not being clear on what is expected of them for the next meeting. This Was an issue of concern for all partners present.
To ensure all countries are clear of their next steps and actions for the next project, Louise will send out a summary of Action points attached to the minutes and Angela will email to all partners, including Gabriella, the Romanian, English teacher.
Lisa suggested that we complete a short interim report to show what we have done so far and what we plan for the future. This will ensure that every country is on track to produce a project on the agreed theme for the next meeting.
We agreed that a summary of actions will be sent out by email within two weeks of the end of the Polish meeting.
Within the summary we will tell all partners that they will produce the short interim report which will be sent to Angela by the 30th January.
We agree that certificates will be given to the countries at the end of their visit to ensure that the dates on the certificates are correct and show the true number of days that the delegates attended the meeting.
Meetings last for three days and ALL PARTENRS SHOULD MANAGE TO COME FOR THE WHOLE MEETING.
Angela has requested that we e-mail more often to discuss issues or concerns or use the blog to check that what you are working on fits in with what has been agreed. We need to work together and stay in touch.

Actions Point Summary
• Put all presentations from your school so far onto the blog .
• Theme for next part of project is Friendship.
(Each of us should choose a story/ stories which deal with friendship and present the stories, activities undertaken based on those stories, and the key competencies worked on at the next meeting in Wales.)
We have also agreed to focus on one other partner country. Work presented on the partner country can be presented separately or as part of the presentation on Friendship.
• E-mail Angela by the end of January with a brief, informal outline of what you have been working on, in order to receive support about what is required.
• Stay in Touch!
